Job Description

  • Produce technical specifications and software designs based on high level customer requirements.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with the various stakeholders to resolve requirements gaps and conflicts.
  • Develop high quality software using .Net technologies.
  • Create and execute comprehensive Unit Tests on developed software
  • Support and maintain developed software within agreed service level targets and quality objectives
  • Work effectively in a dynamic Agile software development environment
  • Provide technical support, guidance and inspiration to other members of the team, both onshore and offshore
  • Promptly escalate issues which cause personal or team development to fall outside of agreed quality or timescale tolerances and to actively contribute to their resolution
  • Pro-actively suggest and implement agreed process improvements that enhance the performance, productivity and morale of the team
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes that enhance the performance and quality of personal and team deliverables Work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment.
  • Excellent ability to understand and develop complex applications - based on a highly resilient and loosely coupled architecture
  • A proven track record of taking ownership of technical issues and delivering solutions through to conclusion
  • Ability to successfully develop both high level and detailed designs to deliver complex functionality.
  • Able to provide technical leadership to a mixed team of developers and QA resources
  • Experience in communicating with customers and senior managers in the UK both verbally and in writing - essential
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge of Microsoft architectural patterns and best practices.
  • Keeps abreast of new technologies to ensure their skills are up to date and in line with changes in the market

  • .Net framework 4.5 or above C#,
  • REST API and SOAP
  • Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS SSAS)
  • IIS 6.0 and above
