This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesThe role holder is responsible for leading and developing a new generation of digital Banking to promote a better user experience to clients. This role is going to lead few staffs to deliver one or more projects. Expect to be challenged in your adaptability and ability to handle kinds of complex, real world programming challenges and stake holder management challengesWe are seeking a talented, motivated and experienced development lead to join a high performing Scrum team to roll out a new digital solution for SCB customers. The candidate must be a skilled professional who has end to end software development and delivery experienceKey Roles & Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements, design, develop, test, deploy and support applications;
  • Work closely with Product Owner and Scrum teams to deliver user-centric solutions for internal and external customers;
  • Promote adoption and rollout of Agile and modern software engineering practices;
  • Drive innovative software engineering practices and architecture design;
  • Work with business and other technology teams to establish frameworks for delivering online capability;
  • Ensure risks, issues and schedules are appropriately managed following agile principles.
  • Work with technology teams to co-ordinate development and create a delivery pipeline across multiple streams;
  • Collaborate with core DevOps and Testing teams to build and enhance a continuous delivery pipeline;
  • Collaborate and support operations team;
  • Able to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements;

  • Should be strong in Banking Functional Knowledge and Banking Technology Solutions.
Qualification & Skills
  • Strong analytical & problem solving and creative skills
  • Good communication skills in both written and oral English
  • Ability to be organised and multi-task on different requirements across various stakeholders, and to work independently and under pressure
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness to work with a range of people from diverse background and geographies
Mandatory Technical Skills
  • BTech or MTech in Computer sciences or Software engineering, three and above years of relevant experiences
  • Experienced on J2EE enterprise application development, system architecture, technical design and delivery.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience
  • Programming languages (Java)
  • Application runtimes Tomcat, EKS, OpenShift.
  • Frameworks (Spring, SpringMVC, Spring boot, Cucumber, Camel, Apache CXF, JMS, Web Services )
  • Databases, software algorithms and design patterns
  • DevOps toolchain experience (JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory )
  • Service or Microservice architecture (REST and SOAP) , Spring Boot.
  • TDD, BDD, performance and Security testing for mobile and web
  • Build automation tools (Ant, Maven,Gradle )
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
Desirable Technical Skills but not mandatory
  • Cloud deployment and systems management experience Docker/OpenShift/ kubernate
  • Prior experience in digital banking
  • UI development (Ember2, Angular2, ReactJs, HTML5, CSS)
