Job Description

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage development, specification, design, code reviews, design reviews and debugging of scalable and high-performance service-based web applications.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels.
    • Identify and communicate project scope and ensure release milestones and objectives are met with delivering a high-quality product release.
    • Take accountability for moving the key business metrics within your area and provide thought partnership to the product team and ensure collaboration among product, development, and customer success teams.
    • Analyze problems and drive long term technology solutions to evolve the product scalability, performance, reliability, and supportability.
    Requirements:
    • Engineering/ Masters degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent.
    • At least 12 years of experience in software development and delivery, with in-depth knowledge of software architectures; must have at least 2 years of experience in leading small and mid-sized development teams.
    • Strong computer science fundamentals (data structure, algorithms, distributed development, system design) Strong systems design experience, having scaled distributed systems/microservices in products; experience going through the full software cycle: designing, coding/testing, and rolling out best practices in delivering world-class software and services.
    • Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment. Full stack developer with solid programming skills in Java, Angular and or similar technologies is good to have.
    • A track record and passion for improving the code structure and architecture to enhance testability and maintainability.
    • Excellent people/leadership skills to grow and guide your team members; a passion for your teams mission and a self-starting personality to make things happen. Great project management skills to lead and juggle multi-engineer projects and deliver high-quality projects on time.
    • Strong partnership with product and business teams that demonstrates effective collaboration and communication across multiple stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding changing environment as needed in Java. Good to have knowledge of cloud services like AWS, GC
