Job Description

Purpose Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent. Responsibilities Develop further as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors). Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager. Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager. With limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc). Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff. Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services. Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools. Business Relationships and Project Management: Cultivates a wide range of internal business relationships and begins to develop an external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks. May lead a project team of small to moderate scope. Influence exerted at peer level and occasionally at first levels of management. Impact: Contributes to the completion of departmental projects and goals. Errors in judgment, poor recommendations, or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify. Liaison: Engages with internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. Uses diplomacy and tact in interactions and problem solving. Mentoring: Provides guidance .
