There is a large focus on innovation, inclusion, giving back to the community and sharing knowledge.Morgan Stanley s Equity Derivatives business is driving an aggressive program of change, which is seeing the implementation of a new global processing platform for Vanilla and Exotic Structured OTC Derivatives, encompassing pre-trade pricing, workflow, trade capture, lifecycle processing, affirmation, confirmation, collateral management and settlement. The role is for a Test Automation engineer with Java based full stack developer experience, focusing on development of test automation framework including both Front & Back end of an application. This will require close interaction with core functional and if needed with global development team and with the external dependent teams in the group, as well as with colleagues working on the related user interface, operating within a highly agile test-driven development environment.This role represents an excellent opportunity to learn an exciting and complex business area under Institutional Securities & Technology Division. Successful candidate will have to be commercially focused, having excellent communication skills and to be able to demonstrate a strong delivery track record, with a First or Upper Second Class degree in Computer Science or similar. Equity Derivatives Product Knowledge is not a pre-requisite, although it is advantageous. Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding the business requirement/functionality of the tests being automated. Working in an agile framework, developing Automation framework, integrated with CI/CD pipeline and Environments on Demand. Maintaining / updating existing automated testcases depending on additional/modified functionality. Managing execution & analysis of automated regression tests. Developing client-side and server-side functionality. Writing effective Test APIs Troubleshooting, debug and upgrade software Writing technical documentation Working with IT colleagues globally across a number of front / middle / back-end systems and teams., *Skills Strong knowledge on Java. Full stack knowledge of Front/Back-End & client/server development. Test automation framework implementation and ability to create and execute scripts. Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Must be familiar with code management tools such as git/stash Agile software development experience, preferably Scrum Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills. Desired Technical/Functional Skills: oBDD Test Frameworks (SpecFlow/White/Appium)oEquity Derivatives product knowledge oC#/.NET
