TM & IDL Change Head India

Job Description

• The TM & IDL Change Head India role for Treasury sits within Group Finance operations and Transformation and focuses on overall delivery management of Treasury Markets and Intra Day Liquidity management solutions and BOW initiatives based from India.
• In-Depth business understanding of Treasury markets and Intraday liquidity management
• Collaborate with respective project managers and product owners in TM business to carve out the BOW change initiatives year on year and validate the costs and qualitative and quantitative benefits
• Manage the offshore change team and set-up roles and responsibilities to work closely with onshore project managers and the technology and innovation teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
• Manage overall planning, tracking, and communications of all delivery milestones, tasks and deliverables including inter-dependencies across other projects impacting India change team.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks which may have an impact on costs / delivery timelines for those project deliverables allocated to offshore (India).
• As a Functional lead, provide subject matter expertise on end to end business solutions for the TM and IDL change initiatives
• Represent TM and IDL change in the Finance Architecture and Design Forum (ADF) and work closely with ASPIRE Finance solution architect to identify the right business solutions
• Possesses prior experience on senior stakeholder management and ability to contribute independently in quarterly project review forums
• Train the team on the requirement gathering, data analysis and working collaboratively with a multitude of stakeholders from different disciplines within the bank and of different levels of seniority
• Co-ordinate with HR, NEW team for hiring resources in India
• Manage IDL-TM change team based in India (Chennai, Bangalore).

Our Ideal Candidate

• Degree level educating in a relevant discipline such as Finance, mathematics, engineering, economics, etc
• Prior experience as Programme Manager/ Business Solution-Architect in Treasury Markets and Intraday Liquidity management
• In depth knowledge on Payments, Intraday-Liquidity, FI/MM pricing and risk management knowledge
• Exceptional organisational, problem solving and written / verbal communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills i.e. methodical and thorough.
• Prior experience managing Agile projects
• Lead the team and able to work collaboratively with others

Desirable

• Knowledge of Murex or similar TP systems is desirable
• Prior roles facing ALM/TM desk
