The key focus will be Deals of Private Equity Firms, and additionally in the Financial Services sectorYour key responsibilitiesBrand Building & Business Development Create and manage strong independent relationships with clients at senior positions with minimal partner involvement, expand client base with new wins and conversions (both existing and new clients) Build strong external networks. These have to be leveraged for building and growing the firms business Participate in building the brand of the Firm, and SBU Partner and build relationships, Lead role in client service delivery. Act as a trusted Business Advisor Participate in advising clients on strategic issues and understanding clients needs Independently lead and coordinate the planning and management of medium/large assignments, with a focus on Pricing, Billing & Recovery Maximizing fee opportunities Risk Management Develop and implement risk management strategies, plans and activities with minimal partner involvement Manage sensitive and high level risk issues Proactively resolve (with Partner support) risk issues in delivering service to clientsKnowledge Management Champion knowledge sharing efforts, review and continually improve processes so that the team and firm capture and leverage knowledge People Management Build a strong team and be a strong role model, mentor and coach Assist in resolving people issues Assist in recruiting activities for the SBU, including campus hiringSkills and attributes for success 8-10 years of relevant post qualification experience Should have experience in closing deals. be a front line, client interfacing person have good working experience of financial analysis and strategy Leadership skills Strong Financial Modeling & Analytical skills Strong market network and relationship building skills High initiative and drive Maturity and ability to handle pressure Positive attitude and high commitment Excellent oral and written communication skills Professional appearance and poise High team orientation Project management/time management Business developmentPreference will be given to candidates who have worked with: Investment banks Strategy teams of large corporates BPOs, specifically those in the IB / Research teams Private equity / venture capital firmsTo qualify for the role you must haveCA or MBA (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic backgroundIdeally you ll also have Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills. Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
