Preferred candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits; UCP 600, International Standby Practices: ISP98 & Guide to ICC Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees URDG 758, Boycott regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance with strong decision-making capability.Should have an ability to analyze the processes and identify improvement areas and suggest/execute the action plan to improve the efficiency and turnaround timeShould support the managers in driving efficiency into the process model by bringing in the best practice after detailed analysis of process. This includes but not limited to assessing service quality and identifying areas for process improvement, service or tech initiativesShould be able to think through problems, manage the crisis situations through proper escalation matrix and motivate teamDevelops and exercises business plan, internal procedures and demonstrates an ability to lead projects, offer innovative solutions and cost efficiency opportunitiesAccountable for integrity of process, operations and associated resultsShould supports a wide range of stakeholders (Product, sales, client service, partner site and Tech support) Builds the effective relationships with management and internal stakeholders, also should have ability to influence them where necessaryPreferably the Candidate should be certified in either of

  1. The Certified Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS)
  2. Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees (CSDG)
  3. Certificate in International Trade and Finance (CITF)
Experience, Qualification & Skill Set~15-18 years of Trade experience, Strong business knowledge on Trade products, processes and system knowledge.Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep dive approach is appropriateAbility to drive results through a hands-on approachSkilled in identifying talent, recruiting, coaching, mentoring and developing team membersExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept to communicate with all levels ofthe business and technical parts of the organizationCan operate in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and can prioritize one s own andteams work to achieve them.Ability to partner with demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations while developingstrong working relationships with themUnderstanding of operational risks and related controls, audit and internal control frameworkConfidence to challenge, and be challenged, whilst remaining a positive can-do outlook,
