Role OverviewThe Trade Analytics & Insights Team is looking for a professional to help with large scale process automation, creation and onboarding trading enhancements, and development of tools and dashboards that give critical insight to senior leadership. This person will be joining a brand new team that will be focused on bringing data driven decision making, a data focused culture, and firm technical skillsets to the existing Private Bank Sales & Trading Organization. This team member will be able to combine technical skills, interpersonal skills, and financial markets knowledge to autonomously drive projects forward. This person will be expected to work with numerous teams including Sales & Trading, Supervisory Management, Compliance, Product Management, Business Management, Finance, and Legal.Projects will include automation of traditional and regulatory reporting, automation and enhancement of existing trading workflows, development of new tools for sales and trading, development of dashboards for trading and business heads, and some education of the existing sales and trading organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage Alteryx/Python skills to automate projects addressing existing Sales & Trading manual processes
• Leverage markets knowledge to automate or enhance trading processes
• Leverage Tableau skills to create dynamic dashboards for senior management
• Work with key stakeholders and partners to determine requirements for automating existing processes and designing the appropriate the solution
• Assess project requirements and aid in the selection of the right technology tools to support the solution - whether SQL Server, Tableau, Python, Alteryx
• Train Sales & Trading colleagues to become self-sufficient in Alteryx and Python
• Provide consultation for Intelligent Solution projects being undertaken by Sales & Trading teams
• Partner effectively across several internal teams and external vendors

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in data & analytics, and/or project management
• MBA/CFA preferred
• Demonstrated Alteryx, Tableau, and Python experience is a must.
• Possess the hard programming, statistics, and data modeling skills combined with the softer communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to scope, develop, and deliver elegant solutions to complex problems
• Experience in an equity, fixed income, foreign exchange trading or analytics role
• Experience with data warehouse systems, user access, data mining, and reporting applications/tools
