Job Description

Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides LMS administrative support by:

  • Serving as a LMS subject matter expert and system technical lead to the organization.
  • Being responsible for the support of a web hosted LMS.
  • Responding to all LMS work requests and all inquiries regarding training records and reports.
  • Being responsible for creating and maintaining custom reports.
  • Ensuring that all end user issues are resolved including transcript issues, account requests, system functionality issues, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining training curriculum information, training assignments, student notification text, and rules in LMS.
  • Maintaining and updating the internal database to accurately record all L&D activities.
  • Managing and supporting users by assigning and tracking curriculums.
  • Maintaining administrative rights for LMS basic and privileged users.
  • Providing best in class customer service by responding timely and accurately to customer needs and focusing on first time resolution.
  • Researching and providing ideas to resolve LMS functionality issues.
  • Providing LMS training and support to all levels of LMS users.
  • Helping develop and maintain quality standards and procedures related to the LMS including, but not limited to, all processes supporting student assignment, registration, online completions, tracking, training delivery, and any other related functions.
  • Working with LMS vendors to troubleshoot system-specific issues and implement updates as required.
  • Providing LMS technical assistance for internal development teams in resolving technical difficulties related to accessing the LMS and course content.
  • Supporting LMS system integration with other Bioclinica products.
  • Understanding and testing the updates in the LMS system and communicating them to users.
Provides L&D support by:
  • Providing administrative and operational support for ongoing and short-term training programs.
  • Assisting with pre-course administration including issuing instructions and pre-course information to participants (and their managers if needed), scheduling them, and providing pre-course customer service.
  • Assisting with post-course administration, including sending the evaluation survey, collating feedback data, compiling feedback reports, updating the feedback analysis spreadsheet and producing course certificates.
  • Assisting with providing website administration (SharePoint Page) and updating course materials.
Maintains employee satisfaction by:
  • Establishing a rapport with internal personnel, peers, and others in a position to help meet the department s needs.
  • Responding to inquiries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Answering employee inquiries regarding training calendars, assisting users with registration, and attending on-line trainings as well as eLearning trainings.
Secondary ResponsibilitiesMaintains quality service and departmental standards by:
  • Reading, understanding, and adhering to organizational standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards

  • Working with internal staff to resolve issues

  • Performing other duties as assigned
Maintains technical and industry knowledge by:
  • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor s degree required
Experience
  • 2-3 years experience working with Learning Management System (LMS) Technologies.
  • Minimum of one-year experience as an LMS coordinator. Experience in a LMS training role or data analyst background preferred.
  • 2 years in providing exceptional customer service
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
