And there s no barrier to your potential career success.Local Hire onlyThe Cloud Solution Architect must have a strong foundation in design, development, and implementation of cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have a full understanding of cloud providers, cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless functions etc) )full-stack development background and be capable of designing multi-application cross-functional solutions. You will be comfortable delivering solution architecture in an Agile environment and will have experience with CI/CD. Responsibilities:

  • Designing the cloud environment from a holistic point of view, ensuring it meets all of the companys requirements.
  • Carrying out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within this implemented cloud structure.
  • Completing the integration of new applications into the cloud environment.
  • Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud.
  • Overseeing cloud security.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to confirm understanding of business drivers and strategy
  • Leverage industry and organizational standards, patterns and best practices to design technical solutions of varying complexity
  • Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture from other lines of business and delivery teams to recommend solutions for improvement
  • Effectively leverage appropriate design trade offs and cost/benefit analysis during this process
  • Remains current on emerging technologies and conducts independent research to support business needs and requirements
, *Skills and Experience:
  • Qualification:
    • Engineering Graduate or Master s in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8 to 12 Years of experience in Information Technology having developed and architected large applications and platforms with experience in cloud solution architecture, software architecture, Cloud Native technologies, Microservices, Docker/Containers, DevOps and Agile development
  • Skills:
    • Track record of success with application modernization and rationalization
    • Experience in performing technical assessment of current state of legacy systems
    • Track record of delivering applications on cloud-based infrastructure through various project delivery and development methodologies (e.g. Agile/SAFe, TDD etc.)
    • Experience with DevOps mindset, architecture & toolset, automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools
    • Experience with utilizing software development tools and best practices, i.e. Spring, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jenkins, TDD, unit testing, code coverage, secure code analysis, source code management, etc.
    • Understanding of cloud infrastructure configuration and deployment.
    • Cloud service management skills.
    • Knowledge of web and application servers.
    • Experience with containerization & container orchestration
    • Experience with full stack development
    • Experience with IoT/telematics
    • Experience with messaging architecture (MQ, Kafka)
    • Knowledge of modern security technologies, compliance standards & processes
    • Very strong troubleshooting skills
    • Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills
