Job Description

  • Review / approval of vendor ITP /FAT/Inspection procedure.
  • Review/approval of WPS /PQR.
  • Review / approval of NDT procedure.
  • Exposure of national / international codes & specification related to fabrication, Inspection like ASME, API, IS, BS, TEMA, etc.
  • Exposure to inspection & FAT of electrical/instrument items (electrical/instrument Inspector)
  • Review/approval of Inspection procedure/FAT of electrical / instrument items (electrical/instrument Inspector).
  • Communication with discipline engineers, Inspection manager & Inspection co-ordinator.
  • Experience in inspection of rotating equipment like pump, compressor, blower, turbine, etc.
  • Interpretation of NDT test results. To report non-conformity during shop inspection visit.

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) - Mech, E&I and Diploma in Engineering - Mech, E&I
  • Experience for BE 10+ years, for Diploma 12+ years
  • Understanding of Inspection /expediting process, work instruction & SOPs
  • Understanding delivery schedules, billing schedules
  • Understanding of Vendor work load & financial condition
  • Conversant working with computer i.e, report writing , review of drawings/documents in soft copy. Access to internet.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Should have experience in the following industries: Hydrocarbon, Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical. Food & Bio, Fabrication & manufacturing industry. Engineering consultancy , LSTK contractor
