Job role and other details:JOB DESCRIPTION (ASIA PACIFIC REGION)POSITION TITLE:Key Account Manager India Energy & Industrial ProjectsREPORTING TO:India Country ManagerDIRECT REPORT:NAJOB LOCATION:MumbaiKEY RELATIONSHIPS:Close collaboration with branch management, operations, admin & finance teams in India.Close collaboration with Key Account Management Teams and Energy & Industrial Project Teams throughout the Client network of offices.KEY CUSTOMERSClients part of the Energy & Industrial Projects vertical market.PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Key Account Manager India Energy & Industrial Projects is responsible for the support, development, implementation, and growth of the Energy & Industrial Projects Vertical within the India region. They are targeted with growth of our share of wallet with existing Energy & Industrial Project accounts and maintain activity levels from these current accounts as well as bring new accounts in the same vertical market to Our Client. They work closely with local offices throughout India to improve the overall management of assigned Energy & Industrial Project Accounts.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESGrow share of wallet from existing accounts.Act as Key Account Manager for specific Energy Key Accounts as directed and responsible for their success through project cargo and general cargo (inbound to manufacturing sites and outbound to project sites).Seek, Bid and Win new opportunities throughout India from assigned key accounts.Maintain and develop long-term relationship with our existing customers and potential clients all over India.Identify and engage new business targets in both general and project forwarding.Be responsible for preparing and achieving budgets for key accounts.Maintain CRM tool in CW1 updated for assigned Key Accounts tracking new and existing opportunities as directed.Report monthly update and progress to Management on sales target status, revenue accrued, and business development.Maintain the relationship with Local India Logistics Control Management PIC as guided by Regional Head of Energy & Industrial Projects.Map all the various local production plant locations from assigned key accounts and nurture the relationship with the local stakeholders in each plant so we can open the doors with them and start bidding on business they control locally.Ensure every quotation done in India from existing accounts is recorded to the quote log currently in place and its success updated accordingly for Regional Energy & Project Vertical Management review.Keep CW1 CRM updated with Inquiries and Opportunities as well as Communications with each account.Follow up on Energy & Industrial Projects Sales Leads.Analyse the data feedback and understand how we can change to improve hit rate..JOB SPECIFICATIONS Professional Experience and Knowledge(knowledge, skills, education, experience, and abilities essential to perform this job)Minimum of 8 years of Energy & Industrial Projects related experience.Have sound knowledge regarding transportation rules and Governmental regulations on project movementHave existing experience with Key Accounts to be assigned.Educations and Professional QualificationsDegree holder in Supply Chain / logistics / management / transportation management / sales & marketing or other related discipline.Excellent command of both written and spoken Hindi and English.Strong IT knowledge and skills.Key AttributesExcellent project management capability involving negotiating skills, the management of diverse work groups and financial acumen.Innovative and constantly seeking improvement on current processes.Able to work to deadlines and with high attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsetTake ownership and initiatives at work, ambitious, self-motivated, and result oriented.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customer and build rapportHighly organized to keep track and push forward on opportunities available in India.Interested candidate can share updated cv to apply to ratul@promptpersonnel.com or can call to . 8657864971
