Greeting from Lobo staffing One of our prestigious client is looking for the position of House keeping manager Position- House keeping manager Job location- Navi Mumbai In charge of the smooth and efficient management of the housekeeping, laundry, Linen and horticulture departments, through result oriented personal leadership, including planning, administering, reviewing and controlling according to the guidelines required by the property, in order to achieve maximum standards and skill competency levels, leading to revenue and profit optimization and customer satisfaction. Adheres to all budgetary figures to the best of his ability. Administrative Profile Assists in any inventory / stock taking as / when required for the department. Responsible for effective administration systems set up and maintenance. To formulate and upgrade (minimum once per year) a Departmental Operations Manual To monitor on a weekly basis the information, condition and relevance of department notice boards, especially regarding OJT, GSTS. To conduct a documented audit of standards in the department according to company guidelines minimum once per annum with follow up action plans. Review all reports including daily log book prepared by dept to ensure complete information, relevance, accuracy and follow-up points with a systematic distribution policy to ensure prompt management review. Ensures that all projects, reports, schedules are completed accurately and punctually. Ensure all dept. meetings organized are well planned, effective and results focused. Conduct documented monthly staff meetings and daily follow up action briefings and ensure it is actioned at the sub dept. level. Operational Profile Prepare annual linen procurement plan department wise. Upkeep updated records of Guest Lost and Found Ensure all equipment is maintained fully functional through preventive rather than reactive means and that all defects are attended and rectified without delay. In charge of the development work in the areas of fabric, linen, upholstery designs, carpets, color co-ordination, etc. on a continuous basis. Resource person in collecting and sharing the guest feedback about rooms and room related issues. Ensure that all daily VIP rooms, Special request rooms, long stay guest room for arrivals are checked and in line with the standard set-up by the serviced residence. Ensure that no defective or dirty room is sold to a guest. Ensure that rooms are turned around with minimum delay and no vacant unoccupied rooms are Attend daily operations meeting. Uphold the policies that ensure the safety and security of hotel assets and stocks. Assigns responsibilities and authorities to subordinates without relinquishing own ultimate responsibilities. Coordination with team member on duty during peak periods (frequently opening and closing the operation). Lead in the dept. to implement all initiatives including GSTS. Be demanding of qualities focused standards and not accept those below hotel specifications. Demonstrate full working knowledge of all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work. To maintain a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times to both internal and external customers. Project a positive, motivated attitude and handle all tasks with diplomacy, tact, appropriate discretion, and efficiency.
