*As a Senior Network Engineer, you are responsible for design and build of the firm s core network infrastructure. This encompasses WAN, LAN, firewall, load balancing and cloud focused at our global Data Centre locations. The role will consist of the task based initiatives and projects working with a global network team, vendors and stakeholders. Operation and maintenance of core infrastructure within our data center locations along with availability for escalation for field incidents as needed.You will be involved with assessment and validation of new design and new implementations of network technologies, equipment, and telecommunications services. You ll implement and support cost-effective solutions following corporate internal standards. This includes troubleshooting of the global network services infrastructure, supporting monitoring tools and engaging with the business and other IT functions to understand use cases, and to securely deploy and maintain appropriate solutions. Your collaboration and business acumen will help you understand and articulate the high-level principles, requirements, and progress of initiatives clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be a member of a small remote network team with the ability to work independently as well as with a group.
