Job Description

    Role DefinitionThe individual would be responsible for Implementation of Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety Adverse Event Reporting Systems at Pharmaceutical companies which includes understanding business and functional requirements, analysing and authoring functional requirements, maintaining configurations of the system and testing of the solutions. The individual will be a key member of a global, dynamic and highly collaborative team with various possibilities for personal and professional development.Job DutiesKey components of the responsibilities are as mentioned below:
    • Be responsible for performing range of functions in the areas of technical design/review, development, deployment and integration of Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence solutions
    • Be responsible for supporting the clients ability to collect, manage, and visualize vast amounts of data to influence decision-making at all levels
    • Interact with users and work with a team to develop web-based tools that present analytics and data from variety of sources
    • Solution architecture, proof of concept/prototype design, infrastructure requirements development, database design, and report testing.
    • Be responsible for data analysis and developing reporting specs, developing reports, and developing dashboards and writing complex SQL queries
    • Be responsible for performing a range of functions in the areas of technical design, development, testing and deployment of Data Migration solutions
    • Understand business requirements, relational databases and data models
    • Be responsible for data analysis and writing complex Oracle PL/SQL code & SQL queries
    • Be responsible for creating and maintaining scripts used in database change management, Oracle migrations, and initial schema setup
    • Be involved in Functional and Performance Testing
    Essentials
    • Professional experience, working on Reporting tools like Business Objects/Cognos/OBIEE
    • Professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL, scripting (SQLPlus) and writing efficient SQL queries, SQL query tuning and database schema design
    • Expertise in RDBMS and SQL queries
    • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
    • Exposure to at-least one Reporting tool and PL/SQL
    • Professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL, scripting (SQLPlus) and writing efficient SQL queries, SQL query tuning and database schema design
    • International travel readiness to the tune of 50%, work hours that overlap global client location Time-zones
    • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within changing priorities
    • Zeal to learn and be flexible to work on different technologies and arena as per client need
    Nice to Have Skills
    • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences/ Drug Safety domain and products
    • Experience with JavaScript
    • Productive knowledge out of one or more Data warehousing implementations
    • Work independently without much guidance on the development of DW components
    • Hands-on experience of Salesforce database, JSON, SI-Sense, Python
