It allows creating everything from web and mobile graphics to logos, icons, book illustrations, product packaging and billboards across desktop and iPad. The Adobe Digital Media (DMe) team is looking for a hardworking and highly motivated engineer and technical thinker to contribute in it and help build a scalable and responsive application on the web, that brings the power of Illustrator in the hands of everyone.Position Summary The development engineer will be part of a team working on development of the next generation vector editing application in our creative products. She/he will be responsible for development of new features and maintenance of existing features and will be responsible for all phases of development, from early specs and definition to release. A large part of the application will be written in C/C and web technologies. The candidate needs to be proficient in these technologies and be a hands-on problem solver and well conversant in analyzing, architecting and implementing a solution based on them. Additionally, it would be great if the candidate has a working knowledge of Mobile development / GPU rendering.Responsibilities He would contribute extensively in analysis, design and programming for major and dot software releases.He would be from time to time required to interface with product marketing to evaluate and determine new features to be added.Should be a proactive self-starter who can develop methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.He would be expected to provide leadership within the respective division and act as a mentor to engineers.He would be an expert on one or more platforms and knowledgeable of cross-platform issues, competitive products, and customer requirements. He would contribute significantly towards the development and application of advanced concepts, technologies and expertise within the team.He would be required to address broad architecture and design issues of future products or technologies and provide strategic direction in evaluating new technologies in his/her area of expertise.Requirements B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from a premier institute.8 to 12 years of hands on design / development experience.Proficient in Javascript/React and other web technologies together with data structure and algorithm. Additionally, knowledge of C/C/assembly preferredGood understanding of object oriented design Knowledge of application development on multiple platforms including various flavors of iOS, Windows and Macintosh.Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design and performance.Good understanding of object oriented design and knowledge of product life cycles and associated issues. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be familiar with working in a fast paced global environment.,
