Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform Azure Cloud Assessments, Datacentre migrations , Greenfield setup on various Azure services with knowledge on Native Azure tools like ASR , Azure Migrate and vendor tools like Cloudamize , Doubletake , Platespin etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Know how on : Administration experience with Cloud Platform - Azure , other cloud platform is a plus Knowledge on Automation through ARM templets and powershell scripts for Infrastructure as a Code deployments Knowledge on Cloud hardening , security areas , Azure security center Able to prepare LLD and HLD designs for project. Azure migration for on-prem physical, VMWare and Hyper V servers. DR and Backup setup on Azure for on-prem and Azure infrastructure Hands on Azure Infrastructure resources deployment and management. i) Azure VMs, Scale Sets, PaaS SQL, Azure web apps ii) Azure networking, site to site, point to site, Express route setup. iii) Azure security, route tables, ASG, NSG, Azure firewall, Application gateway (WAF) iv) Azure OMS and log analytics
  • Sound understanding of concepts like Routing, Load Balancing, Redundancy, Disaster Recovery, VPN, Firewalls, etc.
  • Good knowledge on core infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (AD), AD Group Policies, LDAP, LDAP Integration, Exchange, E-Mail Servers such as postfix, sendmail etc.
  • Hands on experience on VMware, VCenter, Hyper V or citrix virtualization platforms.
  • Application Middleware platforms such as Apache, Tomcat, IIS, NGINX, NodeJS etc.
Good to have knowledge on On-prem SQL, Oracle, PostgresSQL, MySQL Database migration to Azure. Good to have hands on experience on Palo Alto, L3 load balancer, Baracuda Firewall or any firewall technology. Technical documentation and POC for organization level audit and for client Good to have experience on Chef, puppet, Docket, Kubernatics and containerization Operating Systems - Linux (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS), Windows Server Good to have: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) / Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) / Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500) Certification on Windows servers / Citrix/ VMWare / CCNA / CCNP ITIL Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies (AZ-300) / Microsoft Azure Architect Design (AZ-301) Communication Management Excellent Communication Skills, Client Facing skills, Presentation and Documentation skills Demonstrated ability to drive consensus and manage diverse stake-holder expectations. A continuous learner in the ever-so changing project and technology world To operate sensibly in challenging environments.
  • Ability to deliver presentations and demonstrations to clients when required Have managed technical delivery and executed them in cross cultural environments with cross functional teams at different locations. Experience in Matrix Management
