Job Description

What you will learn and contribute toAre you passionate about solving problems As part of our team, you will:

  • Maintain end-to-end project delivery including but not limited to, High Level design , interface design document, process design document, implementation MOPs across the OSS ecosystem along with their dependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills are required to address end-user incidents escalated from the service desk or offered by end user on walk-up issues.
  • Decision making responsibilities include the prioritization of work for an OSS team, and determining approaches to addressing end-user support issues.
  • Hands-on Experience on Network Element System (NMS) and element management system and aware Daily health checks of servers.
  • Ensure interworking of OSS to other network Element is OK and all functions are working well (alarm sync, PM data sync, configuration Management etc.)
  • Awareness of server health performance and application functioning, housekeeping, backups, user administration & system administration.
  • Troubleshoot system management, fault management, configuration management and performance management issues.
  • Executing system health check & preventive maintenance task on different EMS/NMS.
  • Proactive fault finding, troubleshooting, provide work around solutions and generation of reports like Performance Report generation and Performance Report Creation.
  • Troubleshooting integration problems of Network elements in 4G,5G technologies.
  • Automate routine tasks to achieve operations efficiency.
  • Shell scripting + some windows-based programming will be an added advantage.
Your skills and experienceYou have:
  • Ability to take independent initiatives, thirst for learning and ability to fit seamlessly into any team
  • Shell scripting + some windows based programming will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, SCP, TELNET, SSH and SNMP protocols and port mappings.
  • Linux administration & VMware administration preferably Redhat & VMware certified.
  • Understanding of GSM/UMTS/LTE principles is appreciated
  • Customer focus in a multicultural environment, team-oriented
  • Availability to work on-call shifts based on the rotation system in place.
  • Know-how of the NMS/Tools is a plus in systems such as: Netact, NSP (5620 SAM), NPM, Netcool, ARC, or any MV system like (ENM,U2020.etc)
  • It would be nice if you also have:
  • Know-how of database administration and maintenance (Oracle, Sybase)
  • Know-how of platform administration (Virtual environments VMware, Open stack)
