Job Description

    The SMB Sales Analytics & Operations leader (Phones & Chat) is responsible for Business Reporting, Strategic Insights & Analytics, and key Operations related to the DMe Phones business including Outbound, Inbound, Chat, and Customer Lifecycle Management.This role is focused on delivering results on multiple initiatives across the Phone Sales business like run the business insights, sales processes, product launches, POCs, training, business consulting support on topics such as reporting and analytics, Quota and Comp planning, QRF, Sales Rep Productivity, Pipeline Health & Forecasts, Cost of Sales, Renewals and Customer Retention, etc. This is a high-visibility role where you can influence global Phones sales growth and develop best-in-class rep outcomes and productivity practices.This role requires a high degree of go-to-market understanding of different regions and businesses, and a deeper understanding of sales processes and management practices. This leader is expected to tackle complex problems in a methodical and structured manner, collaborate cross-functionally across teams/time zones, be organized in verbal and written communication, and manage stakeholders effectively.What youll do:Establish yourself as the main business partner for all things reporting, analytics and operations for the global head of Phones sales business.Own the reporting, analytics for the weekly RTB (Run the Business) cadence and QBRs, by monitoring KPIs, analyzing the business measures and reporting on business performance. Identify areas of opportunities for investments and to drive growth for Phone sales.Consolidate and revamp Phones business reporting & dashboards, covering business performance across inbound/outbound/chat motions, funnel reporting, rep productivity reporting. Work closely with the Sales Data Engineering team to get new signals instrumented from various sales systems.Lead and/or be a core member to oversee operational activities like Territory Coverage & Capacity Planning; Pipeline Forecasting & Management; Sales Process Mapping, Optimization & Governance; Account Intelligence including Rep Call to Actions; Cancellation Operations etc.Leverage structured thinking and project management expertise to drive strategic projects end to end, and present clear data driven recommendations to the leadership team to drive business growth.Attract key talent, develop a strong team, and bring the best out of all team members. Drive analytical and operational rigor into projects and deliverables.What youll need to succeed:12+ years of relevant experience in Sales Analytics & Operations within the high-tech industry, software preferred (SAAS). A prior background in consulting would be preferred.Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or other quantitative fields. MBA or similar advanced degree is desirable.Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail. Comfortable presenting insights to technical and business audiences at various levels across the organization.Hands on experience with SQL for business analysis and familiarity with data models. Possess a degree of comfort working with imperfect or incomplete data.Experience with visualization & dashboarding software. Strong expertise in Salesforce or MS Dynamics reporting and dashboards.Strong work ethics, ability to tackle complex problems, think independently, and develop recommendations via an iterative approach. Ability to relentlessly prioritize based on business impact, superb execution, and a track record of meeting customer needs and timelines.Authentic, empathetic, and inspiring leader with 5+ years experience in managing high performance teams. Ability to develop & nurture talent to drive overall team success.,
