SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:The candidate is accountable for all aspects from design to delivery of Static Equipment like columns, vessels, reactors, drums, heat exchangers (S&T, AFC), Filters etc. for assigned project(s). Provide over all technical leadership for static equipment.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure:mechanical design of static equipment in accordance with process inputs, design basis, contractual technical conditions and codes and standardsfoundation loads from static equipment are shared with civil and structural department for incorporating in design of modules / skidsinterface with other departments like piping, civil & structural during detailed engineering and preparation the 3D modelinterface with project support functions such as planning, procurement etc.support to Supply Chain during procurement viz. preparation of technical specifications and requisitions for obtaining offers, vendor offer evaluation and providing recommendations, preparation of requisition for purchase, review of vendor documents and drawingsassistance during fabrication stages and in inspection to ensure critical technology specific aspects are being mettechnical follow- up with vendors/ fabricators through proper communicationsguidance to module fabricator during construction of modules for issues relating to erection of static equipmentto meet quality and HSE objectives of the project(s)support to Sales in preparing cost estimates for static equipmentsupport during project close- out activities like Final Data Books etc.Othersassigned activities to be executed in accordance with established work processes, on time and within budgetprepare / maintain/ update execution plan, schedule (in MS Projects) and quality plan for assigned activitiesImplement company s HSE procedureseffective prioritization of work when assigned to several projectsADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in planning and tracking of department budgetIdentify and track issues and risks for smooth (productive, safe and information security incident free) functioning of departmentPreparing and updating department processes and SOPsCapturing & Management of Department Knowledge lessons learnt, best practices etc.Assistance in Cost Accounting for costing of all department activitiesKeeping department databases updated and generate MIS reports as requiredSupport Department Compliance & AuditsAssist Supply Chain in vendor qualification and assessmentPresent a positive attitude with Team members thro productive and open communicationACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringWORK EXPERIENCE:Min. 6 years in independently handling various aspect of static equipment from design to deliveryCERTIFICATIONS/ LICENSES/ TRAININGS:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Hands on experience in design of pressure vessels and heat exchangersDemonstrated strong technical knowledge of international Codes & standards for pressure vessels and heat exchangersFamiliarity with software for design and stress analysisGood knowledge of supplier base Effective communication and co- ordination SkillsProficiency in MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel & Visio, MS Projects)Basic working experience of ERP viz. SAP, QuickbaseShould have working knowledge of Auto CAD and be able to prepare GA, foundation load data, etc.Shop fabrication, modular fabrication experience is an added qualificationAbility to perform under pressure,
