Job Description

We are looking for a PHP Developer who is dedicated to his craft. We need you to support our existing infrastructure while recommending ongoing improvements. Candidate will also be responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development lifecycle from initial specification, to developing, testing, and deployment of code.

Responsibilities
  • Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
  • Writes clean, well-designed code.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintains the core product software and data store to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
  • Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Follows industry best practices.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related field, and 3-4 years of software development experience.
  • Understanding of SOAP API
  • Previous Experience with codeigniter
  • Understanding of Basic OOPs concept
  • Proven experience writing PHP applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives.
  • Organized, goal-oriented, motivated self-starter who can work well in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of agile software development life-cycle.
Additional Skills
  • Experience with 3rd Party API Integration.
  • Experience with CMS application like WordPress and Magento is a plus).
  • Experience with HTML5, Mobile Device Development.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services (e.g. SOAP, REST).
  • Experience with Quality Assurance and testing of web applications or software.
  • Energetic, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hard-working and motivated, able to take initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a diverse, team-based environment.
  • Detail oriented, well-organized and excellent ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
