"Work with Oracles world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracles global infrastructure.As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.,Software Developer - Oracle APEX - PL/SQLMain objective of the job:Develop, test, enhance & implement custom web applications using PL/SQL, Oracle APEX and other technologies. Provide technical support & maintenance for custom web applications. Create & maintain appropriate technical documentation. Coordinate development efforts with other team members.Responsibilities:(a) Use proper industry standards to code and develop software and deliver on time.(b) Ensure good quality of development work by using standard testing practices(c) Attend business meetings as required collaborating with team members.(d) Monitor support queue & provide effective issue resolution on support requests logged by customers.(e) Create & maintain appropriate technical documentation to assist in various stages of software development(f) Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and required training sessions.(g) Co-ordinate development efforts with other team members to ensure project delivery(h) Evaluate requirements and technical limitations with users(i) Apply technical skills and experience to provide solution to technical and business problems and achieving business objectives(j) Liaise with technical architects & other project members to ensure technical consistency;Job Requirements:I. Experience:5 and above years of experience required in software development industry with a history of developing solutions using Oracle APEX , SQL/PLSQL and web Technologies.II. Education:Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.III. Skills:Strong experience in Oracle APEX development (APEX 5.1+) and support required.Experience in Web application development required.Strong experience in SQL & PL/SQL required. Oracle Certification is a plus.Proficiency in RDBMS concepts & advanced experience in creating & using database objects required.Good hands-on experience in HTML, JavaScript, AJAX.Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.Effective working alone and as part of a team.Strong interest to train & learn new technologies.Strong software coding practices required.Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.As part of Oracle s employment process candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process, prior to an offer being made.
