Job Description

Responsibilities: OpenShift Administrator/Architect/Expert will be responsible for installing OpenShift Cluster on multiple cloud platform and On Prem like AWS, Azure, GCP and VMware. He will also be responsible for upgrading and maintaining OpenShift Container Platform. This will be a hands-on role involved in end-to-end creating deployment design and administration of OpenShift Container Platform. Work with Storage/Network Infrastructure teams for OpenShift Cluster Deployments. Preparing High Level & Low-Level designs as per solution. Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of OpenShift Container Platform. Design and Implementation of infrastructure solutions & components. Develop, improve, and thoroughly document operational practices and procedures Closely collaborate with multiple teams. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations while striving to automate and streamline underlying processes. Ensure operational availability, security, scalability, efficiency, monitoring, instrumentation, and overall service reliability of the environment. Implement infrastructure/application monitoring, capacity planning and observability solutions (any of Prometheus, ELK, Graphite/Grafana), etc. Technical skills: Mandatory. Linux Administration background with Cloud Experience on AWS/Azure/GCP. Experience in configuring DNS for OpenShift installation. OpenShift installation hands-on experience in both On-Prem and Public Cloud. Strong experience building and maintaining production OpenShift Clusters on OCP v3 and OCP v4. Experience in Installing OpenShift cluster using UPI/IPI method. Experience in managing OpenShift storage. Good understanding of OpenShift Networking concepts Experience in configuring of Logging solution on OpenShift. Shell Scripting exposure related to automation. Exposure to Terraform/Ansible. Hands- on experience in OpenShift life-cycle management. Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues in the given test and production environments. Experience on OpenShift Operators (Installation, upgradation, and management) Good to have: Skills on AWS /MS Azure cloud Experience in Docker & Kubernetes Experience in Logging & Monitoring Experience with Containers Orchestration EKS/GKE/AKS. Basics understanding of Networking Knowledge of Golang will be a plus Knowledge of VMware vSphere will be an added advantage.
