Job Description

Senior Associate- CCT AppDev & SupportIn this role, you will be responsible for crafting clean, functional code that flawlessly suits the needs of the company. Your main focus will be coding and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time problem and, craft the solution which really fits into client needs.Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with different stakeholders (developers, testers, operations/business users)
  • Work closely with third-party support groups (DBA , Windows Team, cloud operations, configuration management)
  • Provide application support and handle incidents and service request tickets
  • Exercise accountability for assigned tasks
  • Prioritize and resolve day-to-day application issues and client requests according to standard process
  • Strong problem solving skills, initiative and the ability to thrive under pressure
  • Initiate service improvement process
  • Willing to work on different shifts
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualifications
  • B.Tech/B.E/ MCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
  • Working knowledge on Agile methodology
  • Knowledge/experience in using JIRA and Confluence
  • Knowledge/experience in using Ticketing Tool (JIRA, Service Now)
  • Knowledge/experience in using different code repository and version control tools such as Gitlab, Git, Github, VSTS, Mercurial, SVN, MKS
  • Experience working on Windows based infrastructure (IIS, Failover Cluster Manager, COM+ components, Service Manager, and any other admin tools)
  • Knowledge/experience in ASP Classic and ASP.NET web-based programming (C#), web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL)
  • Knowledge in multiple applications web servers (IIS, Tomcat)
  • Excellent understanding of .NET C# and various databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc). C++, VB6, Delphi is good to have but is not required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies and cloud services
