Role: Sr. Cloud Support Engineer Senior SQL DBA (L2) Relevant Work Experience: 3 to 8 Years TA Team - Please note that we will absorb 03 SQL DBAs from HAA Lite upcoming Batches and 04 from Lateral Hiring Product Knowledge Working knowledge on public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud is expected. Microsoft Azure PaaS/IaaS Knowledge Microsoft Windows 2012, 2016 2019 Microsoft SQL Enterprise/Standard 2012/2014/2016/2019 Azure SQL Management & Implementation Azure CSP subscription Management Knowledge Azure AD & Azure AD Migration Skills (Hybrid Scenarios) Windows, MSQL and O365 Licensing & Migration Knowledge IaaS & PaaS CSP Migration Scenarios and Solutions Azure Automation & PowerShell Scripting SCOM & OMS Skills Azure Backup and High Availability/ASR Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Must Have Excellent understanding of Public Cloud Infrastructure. Excellent knowledge & hand on experience on ITSM and Monitoring Tools Knowledge of ITIL v3 Foundation Framework Hands on experience on standard requests like new server builds, database administration, configuration changes, performance tuning and/or updates within the environment. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a medium/large complex environment Cloud solutioning / cost estimation/optimization experience Cloud DR solutioning and configuration experience Vendor Management and escalated issue handling capability Excellent Azure SQL Implementation, setup and management hands on experience PaaS SQL Administration and Management Skills Knowledge of SQL Server management in cloud environments, specifically PaaS, SaaS and IaaS Install and configure SQL servers Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as rebuilding indexes, performing upgrades/hotfixes and regulating storage management. Manage database availability, backup/restoration and recovery systems Monitor database system resources and performance Oversee data consistency and third-party interfaces Design high availability architecture and handle disaster recovery planning Initiate and lead project deliverables; drive a high sense of urgency for risk reduction Set the technical direction through the definition and implementation of standards, technical roadmaps, processes and control documents Develop strategic and tactical solutions for the team Excellent Customer Management Skills Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills Hand on experience on Network, Azure VM, Storage, Availability Sets, Backup/Restore, etc. BCDR design and solutioning Key Responsibilities as SQL DBA Capacity and Configuration Management Security Management High Availability Management Backup, Storage and Recovery Management Performance Tuning Process Improvements Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance Installations / Upgrades / Patching Health Checks / Report Analysis Troubleshoot the DB issues Standalone and Cluster model database management Consulting and professional skills required. Passionate, persuasive, articulate Cloud professional capable of quickly establishing interest and credibility in how to design, deploy and operate cloud-based Architectures. Strong written & verbal english communication skills Good analytical and interpersonal skills Experience in enterprise applications, solutions, and data center infrastructures. Experience in platform and cloud migrations, including of Mass Migration Toolsets: Ability to work with team members from around the globe / experience working with off-shore models. Degrees/Certifications Earned Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology Relevant Industry certifications such on Microsoft Azure, AWS & Google Cloud. MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 and Azure AZ 900 (Preferred) Other 3 to 8 years of IT experience. Exposure and working level knowledge of Working with and interacting with global delivery teams and the clients Good business judgment, a comfortable, open communication style, and a willingness and ability to work with customers and teams. Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality. Zeal to learn and enhance technical expertise around public cloud technologies and services. Willing to work in 24x7 model as needed.,
