You will be part of a dynamic, web-first team in a data-driven org that is passionate about the customer and engineering experience.This team is at the center of the Office strategy for service-based web productivity. Working together with partners across Office (such as Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) and other divisions of Microsoft, we are building and delivering the best-in-class Office Web applications that expand the reach of traditional Office client apps by supporting a wide range of browsers and platforms and ensuring that the engineering systems for web-development on top of Typescript/React can support the scale of thousands of engineers contributing to the web. It s an exciting time to join as we expand our engineering system capabilities, browser offering of the product and how we deliver that, and then drive performance and reliability across the entire suite of the web apps, seamlessly integrate with products such as Teams and Outlook Web App.We respect and value other s perspectives and diverse experiences. Improving the satisfaction of engineers in Microsoft and customers of Office for the web, 8+ years of professional software engineering experienceCuriosity and willingness to learn . Ability to effectively communicate technical subjects at varying levels of technical detail. Ability to break down complex problems into simple, incremental deliverablesAdditional Qualifications: Proven development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript or C#/JavaExperience with React, CSS, HTML5 a plus but not requiredStrong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skillsOutstanding cross-discipline and cross group collaboration skillsDeep passion for customers, design thinking, data analysis and technologyProficiency in debugging and diagnosing web or service issuesDemonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products a plusBachelors, Masters, or PHD in computer science, engineering or equivalentMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
