If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a System Admin Advisor- Linux to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).- Management of Linux servers and hypervisors like Xen, KVM, VMware ESXi Conducts system analysis, configuration management and develops improvements for issues related to system software performance, availability and reliability Performs incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis in accordance with Service Level Agreements Designs, develops, recommends and implements new or revised system software, utilities and automated processes as necessary Provides in-depth diagnosis for operating systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the Companys business needs and strategic objectives. Perform system maintenance and maintain current documentation Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post and as advised by Management Deliver effort free work in the areas of Incidents, Requests, Changes Execute Patching Deliver on stringent SLA s in a high work volume environment Contribute improvement ideas 3 per quarter Attend office on time Create any documentation / SOP s for the team Execute hardware calls as and when needed Be able to dispatch tickets to the team or perform queue management as an added responsibilities Be flexible to any work requirement from leadership Be available for short duration travel Complete SCA certification within 3 months of their joining Demonstrate core behaviors of Integrity, Commitment, Team work, Company and Customer first, Be aware that there will be focus on productivity and performance accept shift lead responsibilities as and when required accept to undertake interviews as and when required required to demonstrate mentor teams, and be available for Critical and High severity incidents Key Skills: Experience working with international multilingual teams Demonstrates the NTT Data Services Values of Clients First, Foresight and Teamwork in everything they do. An in-depth knowledge of Linux (SuSE, Red Hat etc) Knowledge of different hardware architecture, roadmap and implementation Server management including migration and consolidation High availability solution implementations Anticipate operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures. Adapt to projects, programs or methods based on customer or business partner feedback Develop innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent.
