Purpose:Purpose of the job is to remotely administer and operate Storage and backup Infrastructure of ST Microelectronics corporate data Centre at WWDC. (Geneva).Job Accountability:a) Administration, monitoring and management of data Backup, storage and SAN infrastructure.o Storage Allocation on SAN and NAS Arrayso Zoningo Backup Configurationo Monitoring of Storage and Backup infrao Data Migrationb) Operations using ITIL Framework: Incident Management, Problem Management, Performance Management, Configuration Management and Capacity Managementc) Data Migration and Upgradesd) Inventory Managemente) Troubleshooting of technical issuesf) Shell scripting skills for task automationg) Managing Ticketing Console (Helix) and OVO console, L2/L3 level of expertise is needed on :The person should be and L2/L3 expert having good hands-on experience of working in a large storage and backup environment. The person should be well versed with following technologies- Tivoli Storage Manager ver 8.x and above- Veritas Netbackup ver 8.x and above- CommVault 11.22.9- Dell/EMC Storage Arrays (Unity 300 and 500)- HP storage arrays (HP9500 and XP7)- Netapp Filers- Brocade SAN Switches- Red Hat LinuxTraining ( Candidate must have undergone training in any/some of the following). Certification will be an added advantageVeritas Netbackup, Tivoli Storage Manager , Array, (XP 9500 or XP7), EMC Unity, NetappNumbers of experience needed : 4-6 yearsSoft Skills:- Very Good communication skills- Ability to work in European shift and to extend working hrs. if situation demands- Ability to work in a team- Strong documentation skillsEducational Qualification: B.Tech - Min 70%
