We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!The OpportunityAdobe is looking for an Automation UI Engineer to drive the automation and development initiatives of the various tools for adobe.com websites in 60+ geographies and 30+ languages. Candidates must have core experience in Angular and other front-end technologies should know about back-end technology and can prioritize and work on multiple projects concurrently. You will be providing automation & scripted support, encouraged to work with peer UI automation engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the success of adobe.com.What you will do:Collaborate with International Project leads and provide automation support on content authoring for several web production projects on adobe.com websites to reduce manual effort.Work with the global engineering team to build and implement new automation tools for content authoring on adobe.com websites and drive the priorities for the assigned segment.Provide support on several issues and build smart solutions to resolve them in AEM.Actively participate in planning and establishing automation and development plans.Closely work with the US and International Production Lead in Jira story assignments and coordinate the work during the IST hours.Collaborate with AEM development teams to ensure that web production perspectives are taken into consideration while developing new features in AEM.Requirements:B.E./B. Tech/ MCA Degree, or equivalent work experience.Strong experience in building applications from the scratch using mandatory skills.Deep expertise in JavaScript, design patterns, and developer tooling with 5+ years of experience.Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience with proficiency in Angular JS 6+, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, XML, AJAX, Object-oriented JavaScript.Experience with NodeJS + Express willing to learn any new technologies is a strong plus.Experience in Mongo Databases and ability to create and maintain databases from scratch.Experience in Git.Experience in back-end technologies like PHP/Python/Java is optional.Ability to build own utility functions rather than depending on third-party libraries.Ability to solve complex CSS and JS issues with quick turn-around.Experience working with any CMS platforms e.g., AEM, is a strong plus.Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (planning, design, development, and deployment)Strong Creative and Graphics Skills.Should have the experience of leading multiple concurrent projects.Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently.Ability to quickly comprehend dynamic enterprise workflows and processes.Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work in a geographically distributed team.Knowledge of Adobe products and services would be an added advantage.Adobe is an equal opportunity employer.
