Job requirements:- The job requirements for the Web Designer, which involves the understanding of both graphics design and computer programming, will be to: Plan, create and code web pages, the layouts and features, using both non-technical and technical skills to produce websites that fit our internal as well as customer requirements.- Get involved in the technical and graphical aspects of pages, producing not just the look of the website but determining how it works as well. Ensure the designed websites are responsive across all platforms (desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet). Technically draw-up detailed website specifications.- Design page layouts with due attention to the appropriate design elements in terms of text font type, size and colours.- Design graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs. Possess knowledge of registering web domain names and organizing the hosting of the website. Code the design of the website using an array of appropriate software / programming languages including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Jquery, JavaScript and others. Work with different content management systems. Possess knowledge of Search Engine Optimization.- Meet relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy. Design the websites visual imagery and ensure it is in-line with Simulanis branding policies. Proof-read content and grammar and make changes where necessary.- Edit content, debugging code and re-designing web pages. Work with other web specialists including web developers and graphic designers. Research current design trends, and keep up to date with the latest developments in web design and software technologies.- Upgrade site by updating content and graphics, monitoring performance and results, identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology and maintaining links.Desired Skills & Qualifications:The incumbent shall possess both or either of the following qualifications:A. Bachelors Degree in Computer Applications/any Program from a reputed and premier college essentialB. Masters Degree in Computer Applications/any Program from a reputed and premier college desirable Other than the above, non-degree candidates with strong artistic and creative abilities coupled with a natural flair for coding, a diploma or training course in web designing and possessing the following skills will be preferred: Databases, Webpage scripting , Programming , Digital imaging , Multimedia design Web development,
