IT Business Partner - Product Life Cycle Management - Manufacturing (10-12 yrs)

Job Description

This role will be responsible for leading and managing the IT initiatives associated with New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) processes of the Organization. Will be the point of contact from the IT function to the New Product Development, Product Management& R&D Teams.Key Responsibilities & Accountability :IT Adaption & Effectiveness :- Drive Availability, Effectiveness and Adaption of IT applications in the New Product Development & Introduction Domain- Solution Design for NPDI Processes- Ensure Effective functional user support in respective function based on internal SLA and KPIDrive Projects / Solution Implementation :- Key Point Of Contact for support and for specific projects between the IT function and the relevant key stakeholders in the business and the solution provider/ implementation partner.Enablement of / Alignment with Business Processes :- Work with business stakeholders to identify, plan, implement and maintain business enablers using IT applications/solutions.- Contribute to the alignment of the IT application service delivery with the business strategy/needs.- Drive the business to utilize competitive advantages through technology enabled processes for respective function.- Challenge existing business practices and drive changes to technology enabled best practices in the respective function AreaIT Innovation / Awareness :- Monitor and evaluate the Functional Area vis a vis IT technologies/applications, Internal Controls and Industry/Process best practices. Drive best practices based on this.Desired Profile of the candidate :- 10-12 years experience in a similar assignment with a Manufacturing company.- Must have experience in PLM solution / PLM Implementation- Strong Change Management Skills- High level of orientation and awareness on the available technology and solution providers in this space.- Experience in leading a team.- Excellent communication skills (oral as well as written English).- Strong Stake Holder Management & Influential Skills.B.E. MBA / Certification in Product Lifecycle Management will be an added advantage.,
