DUTIES :
IT modernization is looking for a solutions Architect to drive and support developer throughput across Global IT.
The person in this position will work closely with development teams engaged with the IT modernization team to train best practices for branching strategy, test automation, configuration management anddeployment pipeline enablement.
They will also work closely with Operations toensure proper application monitoring and disaster recovery.
Major Duties:
Participates in the planning process for building the processes and technology choices for coaching engagements. Builds technical development skills in others.
Evaluate new technology for static code analysis, tools for developer productivity, and build automation to increase efficiency and supportability of our tools and applications.
Looks for process improvement in delivery of applications and process definition opportunities and leads others in adhering toexisting processes and contributing to their improvement.
Ensures project quality by adhering to standards in development, testing and, quality methodologies assuring integration with other systems.
Drives automation into all aspects of the build and release process, increasing quality and driving best practices into the team.
Build out reports measuring the impact of change to code quality. Innovate constantly, keep up with industry standards, tools and software development methodologies;
REQUIRED :We need an excellent communicator who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment.
Ideally, you would have a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Operations Management or equivalent work experience.
We alsorequire: 12+ years of overall experience out of which at least 6+ years inAgile and Lean methodologies.
At least 8+ years of prior software development experience.
6+ years of experience working in Agile team.
Deep understanding of agile values and principles
Excellent communicator who can communicate to diverse audience
Sound facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to engage/coach
Ability to collaborate across organization and forming strategies to drive transformation
Experience / understanding driving agile transformation from design to implementation
Working knowledge and experience with several Agile methodologies, SCRUM, XP, Kanban, SAFe , Hybrid Agile models
Understanding of best practices of product development (User-research, hypothesis-driven development, prototyping, usability testing)
Knowledge of engineering best practices , TDD, Continuous Integration, DevOps
Ability to collaborate globally; early morning or late evening meetings
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis.;
DESIRED :
Agile certifications - Coaching Certifications, PMI-ACP, CSP etc.
Coaching experience in lean, Agile, Product Development.
Ability to apply Agile/lean principles practically
Ability to lead key transformation engagements, i.e. rolling out Agile, DevOps to projects/domains and train/mentor team and individuals
Passion for driving/leading transformation in line with Organizations strategy
Experience with DevOps principles and tools;
EDUCATION : B.E or 4 year degree in IT related field
