Job Description

*Skills and Experience

  • 0-1 years hands-on experience in Cyber / information security
  • Strong understanding of information security concepts
  • Strong hands-on Java / Python development experience including Core Java, Crypto API, and secure coding
  • Good knowledge on Cryptography, PKI and SSL
  • Good understanding of common programming practices and secure coding principles
  • A solid understanding of web-based technologies including multi-tier applications and security standards (SSL, HTTP, Cookie Handling, WS-Security).
  • An understanding of security issues, application-level security, encryption, vulnerabilities.
  • Strong knowledge on Phishing, vulnerability management, and threats
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse, JDeveloper, Visual Studio and SQL Developer.
  • Knowledge on version control systems like SVN, CVS and GIT
  • Authorization and authentication standards and protocols (SAML, OAuth, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following RDBMS systems: Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, including strong SQL query skills
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security frameworks like NIST CSF
  • Hands on experience in hardening various operating systems
  • Demonstrable grasp of best practices for Cyber security
  • Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing workloads
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing will be a value add
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s or Masters degree (B-Tech, B.E, MCA Computer Science) from a reputed college
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer focus and demonstrable ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to devise creative solutions to complex technical problems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
  • Must be self-motivated and quick learner
