Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Perform critical maintenance tasks in web environments.
  • Document and implement best practices pertaining to managing web administration and database support.
  • Fine tune and automate repeated maintenance tasks.
  • Find and resolve web application errors using log files and events.
  • Manage IT Production Operations tools such as SolarWinds, Dotcom etc.
  • Keep all Prod Ops related documentation updated on Confluence (internal wiki)
  • Set up new environment to support new client implementation and new internal initiatives

Other Responsibilities

  • To assist with the support of internal applications and infrastructure
  • Creation and distribution of knowledge and information with other team members
  • Providing assistance and cover for other team members where required

Education and Experience

  • Create MoveIT jobs and Hosts as per requirement specification.
  • Responsible for complete MoveIT monitoring and administration.
  • Act as a point of contact for MoveIT, FTP and EDIFECS in HPS BU.
  • Understanding of Microsoft tools including visual studio and associated technologies.
  • Responsible for creating new clients on FTP server and manage access and server completely.
  • Monitor EDIFECS health and troubleshoot issues relating memory and associated infrastructure.
  • Perform migration of new clients from Dev environment to Prod environment and configure system parameters for EDIFECS
  • Customize environment as per client and business requirements.
  • Work on end-to-end implementation with emphasis on requirements Gathering, as-is and to-be blueprinting, Sol. Design/Blueprint, UAT Product Test, Deployment, and post go-live support.
  • debugs SOA based solutions, including interface components, web services, graphical screens, reports and data objects/services.

Must have :

Moderate understanding of SQL DML commands and T-SQL.

Understanding of US healthcare on the Payer Domain (EDI)

Working knowledge in FTP and file transmissions and processing through various ETL tools is a plus.
