Throughout the industry there is mounting pressure on organizations to do more, requiring a clear technology strategy that not only addresses the demands of today, but also enables the growth and performance of tomorrow.What you will be doing This position is responsible for implementing and supporting best practices and procedures in version control, software development lifecycle management, application build management, application distribution and deployment management, and other software configuration management activities including CI-CD. Sets up moderately complex projects in the version control tool, creates and troubleshoots distributed builds/compiles, as well as trains and consults with development teams on how to use the tools. May require some scripting or coding responsibilities.What you bring:GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Must have 3-5 years experience in a professional and commercial software development company. Must have excellent communication skills and experience working in a team setting. Must be able to perform under pressure Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Ready to work in shifts (24x7)Shares in developing effective configuration management strategies and solutions for existing and new products. Analyzes the software development lifecycle for process improvements and automation opportunities. Exposure to third party source control, version control, build, and distribution tools will be added advantage.Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.Must be willing to learn newer technologies as needed. Troubleshoots internal software automation tools and utilities. Performs application conversion, configuration and release deployment duties. Experience with automating CI-CD and whole DEVOPS CYCLE would be plus. Exposure to Cloud and performing installations/deployments on cloud is good to have. Support and assist in development of continuous integration and other build/deployment process and quality improvements Responsible for proper deployment of builds to designated internal environments as needed.
