Job Description

Group Operations carries out high-quality and efficient banking services to clients across the Business divisions ensuring an excellent execution of millions of transactions daily. We operate globally in four regions - Switzerland, APAC, Americas and UK Entities, Wroclaw & Dublin.We apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency while seeking new and innovative ways to support clients changing needs.- This role offers the candidate an opportunity to influence the Securities strategy within and improve the overall client experience- Focus areas will be to improve Settlement Efficiency and Straight Through Processing rates- Responsible to provide their manager with regular updates on progress and demonstrate how results have been achieved- Opportunity to identify issues in the front to back process and be able to process re-engineer in order to remediate those issues- The role involves detailed understanding of inventory management processes so a key objective is to review, identify and implement improvements- A department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firms D&I ambition which is an integral part of our cultural values Qualifications :- Inspiring change with resilience and adaptability- The ability to navigate a way forward through uncertainty and ambiguity with a positive demeanor, embracing change- Analytical approach : A logical approach to problem solving, making rational decisions based on analysis of data from a wide range of sources- Creating a collaborative open culture : Effective collaboration across organizational boundaries; actively encouraging inclusivity and diversity and facilitating open communication between teams- Managing risk : Proven experience in evaluating risk likelihood and impact; taking into account all risk factors to balance risk, service and cost when communicating risk implications and contingency plans- Critical thinking : A strategic, creative approach, proactively seeking opportunities to drive continuous improvement and change- Delivering business value and productivity : Taking accountability for organizing and delivering work to maximize business value for clients and partners, establishing what can be delivered and viability of solutions- Relationship building : Strong, adaptable relationship building skills across colleagues, partners and external partners at all levels- Influencing and presenting information : Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable, relevant and engaging way- Leading, motivating and empowering : A - leading by example- approach, understanding the needs of different team members and groups and adapting your style to effectively motivate; delegate responsibility and empower others- Aligning and developing talent : Focus on actively and creatively aligning team members based on strengths, hiring the right skills with a view to building a diverse organization and rewarding and retaining key talent- 5+ years of experience in Securities Settlements and Middle Office- Understand the full trade lifecycle, end to end for all Securities products- An extensive knowledge of Inventory, Financing and Stock Record- A specialist on Market and Product knowledge and understand the restrictions- Understand the CSDR cost impact of fails and be able to look at the opportunity to reduce those costs- Knowledge of Front Office Order Management Systems is hugely beneficial, especially Global 1 and Vision for SBL & Repo products- Experience of Reference Data and how each component impacts the trade lifecycle is essential.- Proven experience across multiple securities markets and products- Phenomenal effective communications skills and ability to present to a senior audience- Have experience working with IT to plan and deliver solutions with effective success on BRD, FRD and UAT project management skills- Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards- Understands the value of diversity in the workplace and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life so that people from all backgrounds receive equal treatment, realize their full potential and can bring their full, authentic selves to work.,
