Do you want to design and build next generation applications using the latest technologies e.g. scala, spark Are you confident at iteratively refining requirements and removing any ambiguity Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally We are looking for a Senior Developer with 8 years or more of experience in Scala, and solid knowledge on spark, Spring and streaming frameworks.You will be: Analysing, clarifying, and estimating business requirements Providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications Conducting code reviews and testing software as needed, along with participating in application architecture, design, and other phases of SDLC Troubleshooting the application, as well as helping other teams to find the root cause of any integration issueYour teamYou will be part of the xServices team. The xServices provides a wide range of services that are reused across the bank by many other teams and applications. Your team members are located in Switzerland and India. You should expect to collaborate with people from around the globe., You must have a solid knowledge on most of these items: Scala (functional programming) Spark (core, dataframes) Cloud experience with Azure/AWS Data structures, and multi-threading Microservices, RestFul API and Swagger API Spring Core, Boot, Cloud and Data Messaging: Apache Kafka JUnit and Mockito Unix and bash commands Git and Gitlab
