Business AnalystLocation PunePosting date 15 hours ago(2/24/2021 7:16 AM)Job ID 82552 Category Operations Job summary The Red Hat Global Business Delivery team is looking for a Business Analyst focused on industries and global accounts to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will be responsible for working with leadership, executives, and internal teams on planning, reporting, and analysis. Youll need to have a dynamic and detail-oriented personality to interact with business to resolve their easy to complex queries. As a Business Analyst, you will also develop a close working partnership across various functions like Global Partners and Alliances, Products and Technologies (PnT), Marketing, Finance, and Sales Operations teams. Primary job responsibilities

  • Ideate, design, develop and maintain data offerings and services
  • Create business plans and dashboards, supporting process mapping and business intelligence (BI) solutions
  • Participate in various structured and ad hoc planning and analysis projects
  • Build and maintain data pipeline to handle large datasets
  • Ensure the business has data and analytics that they need in a timely manner
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and initiate partnerships
  • Guide projects to success in all phases - initiation, realization, and completion
Required skills
  • Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, management, mathematics, or economics with 8+ years of work experience
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex system and process issues in simple and understandable terms and to use this knowledge to deliver analysis to support strategic decisions
  • Good storyboarding skills; ability to work very effectively with Tableau
  • 3+ years of direct experience with Tableau
  • SQL-proficient with 3+ years of experience
  • Good understanding of Python
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Financial and operational understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models, problem-solving mindset, and demonstrated ability to apply quantitative approach to problem-solving and measuring business results
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) and other business tools, including Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Ability to communicate complex system and process issues in simple and understandable terms and to use this knowledge to deliver analysis to support strategic decisions
  • Willingness to consistently work extended hours during periods of high demand like quarter and year end; this may include weekends
