Business Development Executive - Alliance Partnership Account ManagerPosting Location : Location Remote United StatesPosting date 4 hours ago(3/3/2021 6:54 AM)Category Field Sales Job summary The Red Hat Channel Sales team is looking for a Business Development Executive to join us. In this role, you will guide and develop highly motivated reseller partners for Red Hat. Our North America (NA) business is predicated on Red Hat s emerging technology workloads like Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and JBoss based workloads and is created in enterprise and mid market accounts. These workloads and environments are often driven by the partner ecosystem. You will be in the vortex of the new and compelling Red Hat and IBM Hybrid Cloud 2.0 strategies and playing a key role in building future state for our value partner initiatives. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. Primary job responsibilities

  • Work closely with high upside partner leaders to help create a strategic vision for how they can grow their businesses leveraging Red Hat technologies
  • Jointly develop and deliver on annual Red Hat business plans that focus on training, engagement, demand generation, and sales targets
  • Help create differentiated value propositions for each partner that result in accelerated, sustainable growth of their Red Hat businesses
  • Provide compelling expertise and vision to gain mindshare with partner sales teams that increases their focus on selling Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform-based solutions
  • Work effectively with Red Hats sellers and sales leaders to map target accounts and promote the value-add of our strategic partners
Required skills
  • 5+ years of successful direct enterprise selling experience
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with channel reseller partners
  • Ability to create solid relationships at all levels of a business partner firm
  • Very comfortable selling to and engaging with C-level executives
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and provide thought leadership as part of a cross-functional channel sales team of sales, technical, and marketing professionals
  • Experience working with marketing plans and budgets
  • Passion to build something that grows and lasts; desire to compete and win against large core competitors
