* Duties and Responsibilities - PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) BFL in due course will be applying for a PA license and will be building a ground up Payment Gateway product. In parallel we will be setting up an Online business team also. This role will be responsible to work with Product and Technology team from the beginning so to create an MVP for Phase 1 delivery. During the build phase a complete strategy P&L & GTM needs to be formalized along with a seed structure of 4-5-member team. Online Acquiring team in a phased & sequential manner will start acquiring BFL In-house opportunities Bajaj Group companies BFL merchant partner eco-system and in due course Open market acquiring. This structure will also have a dedicated Business Development team who will be interacting with Online merchants for Issuance tie-ups/propositions like PPI UPI Credit Card etc 4. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job) All the challenges associated while setting up a new Business may or may not be there: Online PG Acquiring is a highly competitive space and BFL will be a new entrant Change in project delivery timelines Phased delivery approach means features compared to competitors will come in a staggered manner. 5. DIMENSIONS (Key numerical data which will reflect the scope and scale of activities concerning this job) Financial Dimensions (These should be quantifiable numerical amounts) Our Goal will be to become Top 5 Payments company in India on both Issuance and Acquiring side. Hence financial goals will be quite large. Year on year target & budget will be created each FY as part of Annual Operating Plan Other Dimensions (Significant volume dimensions associated with the job) Total Team Size: 4-5 team members to start with. It will go to 25-30 and Year 1 and more than 70-75 by Year 3 Number of Direct Reports: 4-5 Number of Indirect Reports: TBD Number of Outsourced employees: NA Number of locations: NA Number of products: NA , * SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent) Educational Qualifications a) Qualifications MBA from a reputed institute with a minimum 10-14 years of experience b) Work Experience Minimum 5 years of Online Acquiring Business experience Strong domain knowledge of Acquiring hooks like MDR, Instrument coverage, Bank spread, customized check-out pages, Recons etc Historical large merchant relationships Candidates worked with PayU, RazorPay etc will be preferred Strong bias for action & driving results in a high-performance environment. Should have excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills. Exceptionally high motivation levels and needs to be a self-starter
