Job Description

Overseeing the establishment and maintenance of security operations for Indus Towers leveraging partner ecosystem through automated and continuous monitoring using network security and core security applications.Network security driving appropriate usage of firewall, load balancers etc.) and security applications like DLP, MDM etc.Build abilities to create framework and drive organizations capabilities around detect and mitigate incidents that impair information security around information systems;Developing, maintaining and overseeing Indus Towers wide information security programDeveloping, maintaining and overseeing information security policies, procedures and control techniques to address all applicable requirementsDriving organizations awareness program and overseeing trainings for employees, associates with significant responsibilities for information security;Assisting senior leadership of the company on cybersecurity matters by continuous engagement like information security workgroup, information security council etcReporting to Indus executives team the effectiveness of the Indus information security program; information derived from automated and continuous monitoring, including threat assessments; and progress on actions to remediate threatsVendor management for all of the above security programs and initiatives., Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skill Sets Required (Mandatory/ Preferred) and Personal Characteristics

  • 6 - 8 years of IT industry or a telecom experience
  • At the minimum, should possess 5 years of IT security / Cyber Security
  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
  • Must have excellent presentation skills and technical acumen
  • A strong understanding of the IT security & standards
  • Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to articulate the corporate security vision and translate that into effective security initiatives and security operational plans across the organization.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgment with well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
