Come be part of this great Processor team where you can make an impact that is visible.Sr Principal Design Engineer - CPU Fetch subsystem micro-architectResponsible for micro-architecture development and specification of CPU/DSP Instruction fetch subsystem.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for one of the following: micro-architecture development and specification of microprocessor cores, multiprocessor sub-systems or tightly coupled accelerators.
  • Owns architecture for the system and works cross-functionally with internal/external stakeholders to drive the definition of requirements (e.g., performance, power, cost).
  • Lead the micro-architecture definition and drive overall hardware implementation working with Software, RTL, DV and EDA teams.
  • Be a strong advocate for cycle performance and physical PPA throughout the development cycle.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture and DV teams on benchmarks to evaluate micro-architecture performance.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in the development of CPU or DSPs or Processor subsystem components. Exposure to AI/ML hardware desirable but not required.
  • Deep knowledge in the definition of complex hardware micro-architectures essential. Proven track record in delivering innovative micro-architecture solutions for successful products.
  • Strong track record in understanding Software and hardware implementation issues.
  • Experience in leading a small team desirable but not required.
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
