  • Build a modern data platform in public cloud, enabling the company to become even more data driven and get more value out of our data.
  • Support teams across the TomTom organization to adopt this new modern platform
  • Lead Data Platform Architecture decisions
  • Lead the design and architectural roadmaps on Azure cloud including all Data Platform Capabilities like data ingestion, data access, data governance, data lake, data warehouse, big data, data analytics etc.
  • Take a lead in discussions with your stakeholders making sure the voices of our internal customers are heard
  • Provide expertise on the overall data eco-system s engineering best practices, standards, architectural approaches and complex technical solutions
  • Contribute to the definition and the alignment of the data platform vision and strategy
  • Work with engineering teams across the technology organization, influence, integrate and deliver the strategy through clear leadership/direction
What you ll need
  • 12 years of experience building Data and Analytics solutions
  • 4 years of experience in designing and architecting data solutions
  • Should be passionate about technology and best practices
  • Thorough understanding of Agile and DevOps (CI/CD, Data Pipelines, Automation)
  • Passion to provide inspirational leadership
  • Knowledge and experience on modern data architecture principles
  • Experience on Microsoft Public Cloud (Azure) and its Data Capabilities
  • Ability to create and design solutions which are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical people
  • Technical education in computer science or relevant field
What s nice to have
  • Prior experience in setting up a modern Data Platform on Cloud
  • Experience working with Public cloud, certifications, preferably Azure
  • Experience with Azure synapse, data factory, data lake, data bricks, Power BI & AI
  • Experience with Data Mesh
