The DBA expert for PEGA BPA project will be responsible for all DB configuration related activities for all PEGA environments including DEV, SIT and UAT.Following are the key responsibilities of the DBA in this project:Setup new Infrastructure, applications and interfacesOn an ongoing basis, refresh Data set, apply program updates and patches to be in sync with production environment according to needs.Manage & Control AccessesAlign technical infrastructure with productionCreate short-termand mid-term plans to deliver environments to support developmentand non-production activitiesDefine and agree deployment schedules with Project, Application teams and Release Management and Testing team.Coordinate activities to automate the setup and configuration of test environmentsTrack releases, upgrades and changes to the environments as per the requestsMonitor and guarantee up-time and availability of the environments and provide ongoing supportCommunicate planned downtime on environment to stakeholders, working with them to minimize impact on test schedule.Coordinate with Infrastructure team for hardware requirementsCoordinate with DBAs for Datarefresh activitiesDevelop KPIs to track efficacy of environment delivery effortsLog, coordinate and resolve defects related to environments to provide the stable environments.
