Job Description

Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer Engineering Travel Percentage : 0%Responsibilities:

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and server configuration
  • Tune systems for maximum performance
  • Provide coordinated support to developers, operations staff, production systems
  • Establish new DevOps processes and grow the DevOps team
Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years and a Masters degree; or equivalent work experience.
Required skills:
  • Configuration Management with Puppet
  • Enterprise Linux Administration (Redhat/CentOS)
  • Virtualization with VMware
  • Advanced scripting with Ruby/Python
  • Active Directory Management and Administration
  • Source Control Management (Git and/or Subversion)
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Self-starter and team player
Preferred skills:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins)
  • Advanced Linux kernel and network tuning
  • Advanced Linux administration and engineering
  • vCenter Networking
  • vRealize Automation
  • Ansible
