Tech or Similar DegreeJob Summary : We are looking for an amazing Systems engineer with a passion for automation and configuration as well as experience in architecture to join our Team.The successful applicant will have experience in working closely with development, support and implementation teams to identify needs and areas for potential improvement.They will be expected to architect and implement solutions to these that are suitable for a global SaaS environment; working with other teams within the wider SaaS Operations team as needed.This will all be with a dev ops mindset of removing barriers and promoting self- enablement wherever possible.This may include improving the automation of deployments across our datacentres, improve monitoring or updating Kubernetes to the latest versions.In addition, this role will be helping, along with the wider SaaS Operations team, to keep our infrastructure up and running for our external and internal clients.This position gives the candidates an excellent opportunity to utilize both technical and interpersonal skills in the Finance Industry.Preferred Skills - ITIL KnowledgeRHCE, Kubernetes Certification, DevOps Master etc.Familiar with Networking Concept and CCNA / CCNP Certified.Primary Responsibilities : Planning, Designing & implementation of Full Stack DevOps Environment.Be the point of contact for all teams looking for technical advice or solutions.Use modern principles such as IaaC, CI/ CD and Config Management (Puppet/ Ansible) to improve the way we work.Work with stakeholders to architect, design and implement solutions for the use and optimisation of our InfrastructureBecome a subject matter expert on the application and infrastructure interfaces for other team members and teamsResearch and conduct projects for new technical application initiativesIdentifying current and emerging technology trends and translating these to potential FlexTrade usesDiagnosing & resolving production issuesTake part in rota and on- call coverage for the live running of the FlexTrade environments covering multiple areasProvide support to solve various technical issues of customer.Experience : Proven experience in architecting complex, highly available SaaS solutions in a demanding environment and maintain themProven experience of analysing existing systems and workflows, identifying potential improvements and implementingCI/ CD tooling such as Jenkins, Gitlab(- CI) and containersMonitoring tools, for example SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Prometheus etc.Utilizing and extending log management tools, for example Elk Stack, GrayLog, Splunk etc.Configuration management tools such as Puppet and AnsibleGood scripting/ coding experience in languages such as Perl, Python, Java etc.A good level of experience with systems such as RedHat, CentOS etc.Some experience and understanding of Windows Server, Citrix, VMware and vSphereSome experience and understanding of networking would be an advantage Secondary Responsibilities : Excellent technical writing, presentations, and systems analysis skillsAbility to learn and apply new knowledge quickly and effectivelyFamiliar with DevSecOps, Application Security.Mandatory Skills : Excellent Communication skills, both verbal as well as writtenEnthusiasm for technology and an appetite to learn new, exciting thingsTeam spiritA degree in a related field, such as Computer Science is an advantage, but not essentialExtensive experience of working with Unix and common applications used in SaaSCertifications in any of the above technology s desirableProcess orientedSelf- drivenOther comments : Worked in offshore / remote infrastructure Management EnvironmentHas worked with International Customers,
