Coordinate with business application, and database administration functions to ensure availability and reliability of Customer communications; EDI systems releases/ ASNs, Customer web sites, labels, to meet business demands. Coordinate Customer EDI connections with QAD EDI software vendor and GKN Information Technology. Insure GKN is meeting customer EDI, label, packaging, shipping specifications. Coordinate changes in procedures and software internally and externally. Work closely with trading partners to plan, execute, and implement data exchanges to benefit both parties. Troubleshoot and resolve releasing, ASN, shipping, packaging issues. Develop and maintain project and system documentation per standard. Perform typical business analyst duties such as requirements gathering, solution design, development, and testing to meet business needs. Monitor new technologies, techniques, and tools in the Automotive Industry space to continue to enhance EDI systems. Assist with development of user test plans and execution of those plans in conjunction with internal and external personnel. Develop and conduct end user training for Customer Communication Systems; QAD ERP processing, EDI systems, Customer Supplier Web site, etc. Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards, as well as the alignment with global corporate policies and IS methodology. Acquire and improve skills in Automotive Communications through education and professional organizations. About you Required Qualifications: Associate s degree in Information Systems or 2 years of EDI work experience Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Additional Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business, MIS, or related field Oracle EBS experience Experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems. Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, 96A. EDIFACT, etc.) and EDI translators. Highly motivated self- starter. Ability to think strategically and also to implement those strategies. Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills. Schedule/ deadline oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with business users and co- workers. Automotive application experience in Automotive web based applications; Covisint, Ford DDL, FCA Smart, GM SupplyPower, Clips, etc.,
