nullIn this role, you have the opportunity toThe Electrical Designer has the responsibility to create, implement and test the design on Unit level, conform to the departmental and project procedures and processes. Typically a Unit is developed by an external design house specifically for the intended function, or, preferably, standard commercial of the shelf components are selected. The Electrical Designer will be the technical contact between project and design house or supplier. The Electrical Designer ensures that his design is consistent with the higher level architecture and requirements. Jobholder ensures that his design is understood by the Electrical Engineers, and verifies the correct implementation. The Electrical Designer is responsible for planning and tracking of his Units and ensures risks are mitigated and communicated to stakeholders. Each professional Electrical Designer has built up a specialization in a certain domain, which can be a particular technology or a product feature and assures that his knowledge is up to date with the state of the art techniques.You are responsible for

• Responsible for Requirements, Design, implementation, test and integration of his Unit in accordance with the higher level Requirement and - Design specifications / architectures
• Delegates, coaches and verifies the implementation by Engineers
• Technical contact towards design houses and/or suppliers
• Ensures the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the separate modules in modular, easy-to-maintain units that meets the product specification.
• Understands and communicates consequences of his/her design on the architecture.
• Determines the Unit interfaces (HW/SW), in close consultation with relevant disciplines.
• Ensures that there is proper documentation for his/her design.
• Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature, and technical contacts, and propagates it.
• Defines, executes and takes the lead in concept and feasibility studies with a limited scope to investigate the usability of new technologies.
• Contributes to technology roadmaps and other strategic related activities.
• Takes technological or process related improvements initiatives within the scope of at least the electrical development group.
• Contributes to the Work Breakdown Structure/ the planning process of his/her area.
• Draws up personal schedule and reports on progress.
• Inspires his team members to get the job done.
• Performs work in line with the processes that have been agreed in the department.

You are a part ofPhilips Healthcare Innovation Center (HIC) Pune is a product innovation center for multiple businesses with presence of R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing functions. The center is focused on developing smart and reliable X-ray imaging based Diagnostics and Treatment products with enhanced patient safety to meet the unmet needs of a wide range of global hospital customer base. HIC Pune is the global head-quarters for the IGT Mobile Surgery business and it has a significant R&D presence for the Precision Diagnosis Cluster. In recent years, HIC Pune has become the hub for the growth of Diagnostic X-Ray, CT/AMI, MR and Imaging Components businesses.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Master/Bachelor in in Electronics/Electrical engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience
• Expert in Power Electronics and High Voltage measurement design.
• Experience and knowledge of IT/Medical equipment design and compliance
• Hands on experience in Digital, Analog, Mixed signal design and Experience in designing and testing of Cable Harness
• Knowledge of Value Addition and Value Engineering
• Peripheral interfaces like RS232, RS485, CAN, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
• Exposure to International Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, CFR, MDD, UL, CE, CSA, BIS etc.
• Experience in IEC 61010-1, IEC 60601-1, IEC 60950-1 and IEC 62368-1 Safety standards
• Experience in IEC EN 61326, FCC 15 EMC Standards
• Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently
• Ability to present ideas and to convince project team members
• Be structured and self-organized, Excellent communication skills
• Team player, leadership skills and drive for results
• Quality mindset in design and documentation
• Lateral thinker with bird s eye view, capable of finding an appropriate solution to complex problems.
• Is capable to introduce new technologies and efficiency improvements on group level (change management)

• Exposure to work on global environment, ability to communicate on different levels, good listener, coach and guide project team, with good presentation skills
