Job Description

Skill set: Enterprise Software Engineer (BOBJ/SQL)Must have:

  • Experience with SAP BOBJ 4.1/4.2 reporting tools IDT, UDT, WEBI, Crystal, Design studio and Lumira
  • Experience with creating complex universes, report using Relational DataMart s
  • Good understanding of Data warehouse concepts Star and snowflake models
  • Strong background with writing complex custom SQL against SQL server/Oracle databases. Experience building SQL queries, including sub-queries, minus/union, and inline queries, Stored procedures, Partitioning concepts.
  • Experience with creating reports using SAP BW query s
  • Working experience OLAP for analysis, Analysis for office(AO) tools
  • Experience working with SAP ERP screen, tables and modules like SD, FI, MM.
  • Hands on using Promotion management
  • Managing backup strategies Full Backup, Content Backup, BIAR File Backups and use of Version Management Tools
  • Running weekly and monthly server cleanup activities
  • Knowledge /troubleshooting with user login issue - SAP Business Objects SSO Windows AD, SAP STS using BW and HANA SAML
  • Ability to analyze and estimate development efforts
Good to have:
  • Deployment and working experience with windows and Linux platforms
  • Experience with performing Business Objects upgrades, patching, maintenance activities
  • Strong background handling and deploying Business Objects in distributed, Clustering environments and setting up High availability, disaster recovery
  • Design and implement a scalable system to improve overall system capacity to view and schedule reports (APS scaling)
  • Knowledge on HANA Studio - Schemas and tables on HANA, attribute view, analytical view & Calculation views
